Mr. Anthony Abramo is an NJDOE-certified teacher and Eagle Scout passionate about education. He holds two Bachelor's degrees from William Paterson University in Integrated Math and Science. Throughout his academic tenure, Anthony explored multivariate calculus, number theory, linear algebra, chemistry, and biology, paving the way for a deep understanding of these subjects.
As his journey progressed, he transitioned into tutoring at Huntington Learning Center, specializing in ACT/SAT Test Prep and high school math. His dedication to education extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his active role as an Eagle Scout since 2005. This involvement instilled in him a sense of community spirit and a commitment to service.
In addition to his educational pursuits, Mr. Abramo is a skilled musician proficient in playing the guitar. This artistic outlet complements his analytical mindset, fostering a well-rounded approach to life's challenges.
With a robust skill set encompassing tutoring, math proficiency, classroom management, public speaking, and curriculum development, Mr. Abramo continues to positively impact students' lives, bridging the gap between knowledge and application.
Mrs. Krista Doyle brings over 20 years of experience as a teacher to our programs, specializing in HSPT, SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT preparation. Her academic journey began at Albright College in Reading, PA, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 1995. Building upon this foundation, Mrs. Doyle pursued further education at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA, graduating with a Master of Science in Elementary Education in 2000.
Mrs. Doyle has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success throughout her career. Her expertise in test preparation has helped countless students achieve their educational goals and excel in standardized tests.
With a passion for teaching and a wealth of experience, Mrs. Doyle continues to make a positive impact in the lives of her students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and beyond.
Mr. Allen Krauss, a retired NYC teacher, brings thirteen years of experience to our academic programs. He honed his craft as a high school mathematics teacher, specializing in Integrated Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry at Martin Van Buren HS in Queens Village and Business and Computer Technology H.S. in Cambria Heights. At Queensboro Community College, he taught various middle and high school courses, covering topics ranging from Introduction to Algebra to specialized test prep classes like Hunter High School Test Prep and SAT Test Prep.
Allen is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background, a testament to his versatility and adaptability. He holds an SBL/SDL Certification in Educational Administration from Long Island University-CW Post, a M.S. in Mathematics Teaching from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, and an M.S. in Business Administration & Accounting from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. His academic journey began at Queens College, CUNY, in Flushing, NY, where he earned a B.A. in Economics, showcasing his ability to excel in different fields.
Allen's commitment to student success is evidenced by his role as an Internship Coordinator, for which he received an award from ABC TV's 2007 Above and Beyond Program. Allen's outstanding work in building and enhancing the school's internship program was recognized and honored during the annual television program for Teachers who Inspire Students.
Allen is no stranger to the development of student-athletes. In addition to his teaching and administrative roles, Allen's volunteer work has significantly impacted the community. In 1998, he initiated and organized a youth Flag Football program in Queens, which has grown from 80 children to 400 in 10 years, becoming the largest in the N.Y. metropolitan area. This inspiring journey showcases Allen's dedication and commitment to community development.
Ms. Nicole Paluzzi, a former Professor of Freshman Composition at Seton Hall University, holds a Masters in English with a specialization in Science and Technical Writing. Throughout her career, she has worked with writers of all ages and skill sets to help them become more logical thinkers and better communicators.
She brings over 10 years of experience as an educator and private tutor to our program, having worked at both the Huntington Learning Center and the Seton Hall Writing Center. Her areas of expertise include HSPT, ACT, and SAT preparation along with essay help for student classes and the Common APP.
Ms. Paluzzi’s work as an exam preparation expert and college professor has made her a passionate advocate for student success. She believes in using her knowledge of both sides of the collegiate process to help students better transition into academically rigorous programs. She continues to work with students in her community to help them work towards their goals and achieve both academic and personal success.
