Community of Excellence: Designed for high-achieving student-athletes who aspire to attend a private high school, Advanced Player Academy, powered by ICON Football, provides opportunities to train with like-minded football players who not only push each other to excellence but also create a supportive community that fosters camaraderie, teamwork, and a shared commitment to success on and off the field.
Football Training: Led by experienced football coaches, our comprehensive program covers every aspect needed to prepare for success as a private high school football player. From on-the-field position-specific training to whiteboard instruction and film study to improve football IQ to strength, speed, and agility training, we provide the comprehensive tools and expertise to take each football player's skills to the next level, strengthening their success on the field. Our student-athletes receive up to 10 hours of football instruction and training and 5 hours of sport-specific speed, strength, and agility training each week.
Academic Excellence: Academics come first at Advanced Player Academy, powered by ICON Football. Our dedicated instructors support our student-athletes in reaching their full potential in the classroom. Our educational program includes preparation for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and high school honors placement exams, giving you the competitive edge to excel academically. Our student-athletes receive up to 15 hours of in-person academic instruction in small groups and must complete an additional 10 hours of "homework" weekly.
Coach Olufemi is an Assistant Football Coach at Don Bosco Prep.
He graduated from Coastal Carolina University, earning two Bachelor's degrees: marketing (2020) and business management (2021).
Coach Olufemi played football for Coastal Carolina University from 2018 - 2021. He played in all 13 games and made the start in the 2021 Tailgreeter Cure Bowl. He finished the season with 33 total tackles, 3.0 tackles-for-loss, eight quarterback hurries, and two pass breakups.
Coach Olufemi attended DeMatha High School, Maryland, as a standout student-athlete.
